Charles Lebowitz, MD, FACP, is a well known Internist in the Tampa area. After completeing his training in NYC,  Dr. Lebowitz moved to Lakeland, Florida. He practiced Internal Medicine and Hospital Medicine, for 20 years. He held numerous hospital positions including Chief of Staff and Director of Intensive Care Units, at central Florida hospitals. Dr. Lebowitz moved his practice to Tampa in 2006, to be closer to his family, in New Tampa.

Primary Care Services include:

Diabetes care - treating types I and II.

High Blood Pressure - many modalities of treatment offered.

Heart Disease - we perform Electrocardiograms, Cardiac Stress Testing, 24 - hour ambulatory cardiac monitoring.

Thyroid problems - thyroid testing performed in office

Lipid disorders - we have a full service laboratory on the premises.

Lung Problems - we have Pulmonary Function Testing in office.

Minor skin surgery - done with traditional means as well as with Laser.

Complete Physical Exams and diagnosis of difficult medical problems.
